1. MONITORING
Considering the real-time nature of this bulletin board, it is impossible for us to review messages or confirm the validity of information posted herein. We do not actively monitor the contents of messages posted on these boards, and we are not responsible for the contents of any posted messages. In addition, we neither vouch for nor warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any messages on this bulletin board.
Although this bulletin board does not and cannot review the messages posted, and disavows all responsibility for the content of any of these messages, the Emerycrew.org board managers reserve the right to delete any message for any or no reason whatsoever. Users of this bulletin board remain solely responsible for the content of their messages and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Council 110, the Emery MEC, any entity associated with this bulletin board, Infopop, Inc. (the makers of the bulletin board software), and their agents with respect to any claim based upon transmission of these messages.
The bulletin board managers also reserve the right to reveal users’ identities (or whatever user information the managers are in possession of) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted on this bulletin board.
2. OTHER PROHIBITED CONDUCT
Each user of the Emerycrew.org bulletin board agrees not to upload, post, or otherwise publish on the site and not to seek on or over this Web site any software, file, information, communication, or other content (a) which violates or infringes upon the rights of any other; (b) which, under the circumstances and in the board manager's good faith judgment, is, or is likely to be perceived by an intended recipient or target as, defamatory, deceptive, misleading, abusive, profane, offensive, or inappropriate; (c) which constitutes a threat to, harassment of, or stalking of another; (d) which adversely affects the performance or availability of the site or Emerycrew.org resources; (e) which contains any virus, worm, cancelbot, harmful component, or corrupted data; or (f) which, without the approval of the Emerycrew.org board managers, contains any advertising, promotion, or solicitation of goods or services for commercial purposes. Users agree not to intercept e-mail or engage in "spamming" or any similar conduct.
3. COPYRIGHT AND LEGAL COMPLIANCE
Copyrighted material may not be placed on the site without the permission of the owner(s) or person(s) they specifically authorize to give such permission. Only the owners themselves, plus any persons so authorized, may upload copyrighted material to the site. Any user may upload public domain material to the site. Users may download public domain material for their own use or non-commercially redistribute such public domain material. Users are responsible for and assume all risks regarding the determination of whether material is in the public domain.
4. NO ENDORSEMENT
The messages contained on this board express the views of their authors only, and do not necessarily reflect the views of Council 110, the Emery MEC, , or any entity associated with this bulletin board . The board management does not recommend that such content be relied on for reaching important decisions or conclusions without appropriate verification by the user and, as appropriate, professional advice.
5. FORGERY/FRAUD/AGENT
Users may not post articles or other information with headers that misrepresent who or where the articles or information is from or what organization it represents. Users may not act as agents or conduits to post messages or material for a person who has been denied access to the Web site by the Emerycrew.org board managers.
6. CHAIN LETTERS
Posting a chain letter or other pyramid-type article on the site is
prohibited.
7. ILLEGAL OR COMPETITIVE PURPOSES
Users agree not to use the site nor any of its elements or related facilities
or capabilities to conduct any business or activity, or solicit the performance
of any activity, which is prohibited by or would violate any applicable law,
rule, regulation or legal obligation.
8. COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS, OTHER RULES
Users agree to comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations in connection with the site, its use of the site and this user agreement. Users are responsible for reading and paying appropriate attention to warnings, notices, and instructions presented in various areas of the site, and shall also comply with any other rules and restrictions presented in various areas of the site pertaining to access to or use of such areas.
9. PRIVACY
Users agree not to print , reproduce or disclose to any unauthorized person the contents of any of the posts on the message boards and agree not to reveal their password to any other individual or organization.
